For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of my work being something more than just a duty — I wanted it to be my passion. Today I can say that dream has come true. As a licensed equine physiotherapist, every day I combine my love for these remarkable animals with a scientific approach to their health.
From a childhood fascination to biomechanics
Horses have been part of my life from my earliest years. At first, like most of us, I was captivated by their strength, their majestic beauty and their extraordinary sensitivity. With age, however, my perspective began to change. I grew increasingly interested in their biomechanics, the way they move and the impact of our work as humans on their wellbeing and health.
Today I use my knowledge and experience to help horses return to full fitness, improve the quality of their movement and maintain the balance between training, recovery and rest. In my work I focus on an individual approach to every animal, because each horse is different and deserves the right kind of care.
My goal is not only to help horses regain their fitness, but also to educate owners on how to look after their horse’s musculoskeletal system day to day. I am always happy to share my knowledge and suggest which exercises are worth doing between our sessions to maintain the results of therapy.
I believe a good physiotherapist never stops learning. That is why I regularly take part in specialist training courses and workshops, constantly expanding my knowledge of physiotherapy, biomechanics and modern methods of equine therapy. This allows me to base my work on up-to-date knowledge and choose the most effective solutions for each patient’s needs.
